Laptop

Decided to post this light-hearten post.

Heard from my friend a few months ago that there was this salesman who claimed that if coffee is spill over this particular laptop model, it wont be spoilt as they have drainage system. However, the laptop spoilt when water is accidentally spill over it. So we conclude that the laptop is only coffee-resistance and not water-resistance.

To justify this fact, Kerwei saw this advertisement during IT fair: With the resistant keyboard, a simple accident with a cup of coffee could spell disater for a ordinary notebook. The keyboard on the laptop is designed to prevent liquid spills from damaging the motherboard as it is sealed tight and sites on a tray with dual drainage hole... And he asked me to take note of 'coffee' and 'simple'. So guys, No water treats.. Only coffee treats for the laptop.

Random Thoughts

Setting my mind on pondering, I wondered, how many true friends do each of us really have? Those who can go through with us thick and thin. Not only they would share with you happiness but also sadness, to walk through with you when you are down and out. One would be fortunate to found even one such friend. So do treasure them if you think you had found one around you.

Friends are just like passengers boarding and alighting the bus. Some would cross your path for a short period while others accompany you for a longer period of time. Though I'm unable to keep in constant with you guys, I still treasure our friendship a lot. They include those from my Primary school, Secondary school, JC and Army.

Responsibility

UNSW announced its withdrawal from Singapore after a mere few weeks in operation. No one can really blame them for pulling out as they are unable to recruit enough quality students. However, they can better handle the situation. Not only students and Professors arent given advanced notices about the closure of the campus in Singapore, they arent given enough assistance. Most were left to fend for themselves for a decision made by UNSW. And UNSW is a renowned university in the world. Maybe they are not experienced in setting a campus outside Australia. Because of the decision to pull out, many were left to waste part of their life for putting faith in the school. I hope the steps taken by the uni would affect those students as little as possible.

On the other hand, although Christopher Lee had committed a crime (hit-and-run), he decided not to appeal against his jail-term and admitted his mistake. Even though it's wrong for him to hit-and-run, at least he admitted his mistake. Kudos to him.

On a personal note, yesterday, one of my group members told me during the meeting that he had misplaced the question paper, therefore unable to do the question. How responsible! I am unable to buy that excuse.

First Post

After much consideration, I have decided to come up with this blog.

Since everyone is leading a busy life and quite a number of my friends asking if i have a blog, I decided to keep my friends update with my life. I hope my blog wont bored you guys to death.. I will try to update this blog as frequent as i can, depending on how interesting my life is.. haaa
