I was flipping through today's TNP and I came across this page which i find it rather funny.

'I've had 14 bookings this season- 8 of which were my fault, but 7 of which were disputable.' Hmm... 8+7 = 14?

'I would not be bothered if we lost every game, as long as we won the league.' Hmm.. How do you win the league without winning any game?

'It's going to be difficult for me- I've never had to learn a language and now i do' Can someone tell me if english is considered to be a language?

NTU Convocation

Today went to NTU to congrat Tian and Han's Convocation. We also see others like Minting, Apple, Shuyi and QiAn.

Yimei was extremely excited seeing her friends and she also bought Chocolate to give to her graduating friends - That's Yimei.. haa.. And nothing beats it more than seeing a smile on her face. The most humorous part is that she insisted HuiHan and QiAn to do the 'SMU jump'. I didnt know if it's copyright by SMU thought.. However they didnt entertain her though.. lolx.

It been a long time since i went to NTU. It's a weird feeling because the next tym i go back, it would be the start of the battle for me. Hopefully everything would go well for me n my friends. I guess that's all.

Unexpected Surprise from the Sky

Yimei and I were walking aimlessly on Saturday Nite in outside Plaza Singapura, then we heard some sound coming from the sky.

Mei(covering her ear): It's thunder!
Me: I dun think so, it seems like fireworks.

Both of us look up in the sky but see nothing.

Mei: Nothing in the sky lorz..
Me(looking up into the cloudy sky): I think so..

While we were walking towards this fashion, we stared into the sky. Two aunties also did so upon seeing us doing that. *Admiring Fireworks in the middle of the paveway for less than 5 sec*.. haaa.. It's so funny, esp when two angmos also did the same and they see nothing. I think they were wondering what are this couple doing.

It's a wonderful experience though it's only for 5 sec. This kind of things that happen during the unexpected time make us appreciate them more though it's quite normal.

Puppy for Sale

A store owner was tacking a sign above his door that read "Puppies for Sale." Signs like that have a way of attracting small children, and sure enough a little boy appeared under the store owner's sign. "How much are you going to sell the puppies for?" the little boy asked. The store owner replied, "anywhere from $30 to $50." The little boy reached into his pocket and pulled out some change. "I have $2.37" he said. "May I please look at them?" The store owner smiled and whistled and out of the kennel came Lady, who ran down the aisle of his store followed by five teeny, tiny balls of fur.

One puppy was lagging considerably behind. Immediately the little boy singled out the lagging, limping puppy and said, "What's wrong with that little dog?" The store owner explained that the veterinarian had examined the little puppy and had discovered that it didn't have a hip socket. It would always limp. It would always be lame. The little boy became excited. "That is the puppy I want to buy." The store owner said, "No, you don't want to buy that little dog. If you really want him, I'll just give him to you."

The little boy got quite upset. He looked straight into the store owner's eyes, pointing his finger, and said, "I don't want you to give him to me. That little dog is worth every bit as much as all the other dogs and I'll pay full price. In fact, I'll give you $2.37 now and 50 cents a month until I have him paid for."

The store owner countered, "You really don't want to buy this little dog. He is never going to be able to run and jump and play with you like the other puppies." To his surprise, the little boy reached down and rolled up his pant leg to reveal a badly twisted, crippled left leg supported by a big metal brace. He looked up at the store owner and softly replied, "Well, I don't run so well myself, and the little puppy will need someone who understands."

Do people only understand how one feels when he/she is in the same situation? A little story to share with you guys.

A Change in Mood

For some reason my mood went nosedive ytd, and it only picked up today when I look at some paints and DIY stuffs. No, I didnt do any glue-sniffing. But i dunno why also.. maybe it's cause im being occupied with some stuffs.

As what my friends had discuss, do people get moody for no reason. Mine was for a reason, bt not a rather valid reason though. However is girls generally more moody than guys? I have no idea.. But from what i observed, it seems to be. Maybe guys being guys, they like to keep things to themselves rather than sharing it with others.

Holiday seems to gone by very fast though my only achievement is taking a finance mod during special sem one. Still left two weeks for me to enjoy my holiday and recharged my battery for a new sem ahead. Having a rather packed week ahead.. haa

Im a very lousy student. To think that I need someone to remind me what I had learnt during my astro lesson.

I have updated my blog layout. I hope this will reward my readers, providing them with eye candy.

Today was a great day. As each day went by, we drew closer and closer but there is a fear in me. After what had happen around us, I guess this fear is inevitable... guess it's better to let nature take its course.

Decisions

Once, I aspired to be a fireman. Yes, a fireman.. but that was when i was in primary school. Since then, my aspiration changes from MAE to Accounting. Even till JC, I was certained that EEE wont be one of my choice, reasons being Im not really interested in Electronic stuffs. How things have change.. now im already in my second Year EEE. Gladly, I dont haf my regrets.

Now, im trying to apply for scholarship- something that i didnt thought of doing it because i dont want to by tied down by bonds. But I would like it to help me be financially stable, considering that I do not want to get allowance from my parent. Who dont want additional money, right? But my chances of securing it wont be high. Let's hope.

Babies

Seems to me that Male Babies are more attracted to female.

On my way back with Yimei, we saw this baby getting touchy with Her. When she was trying to hid herself away from his view, he started to make noices and trying to pop his head out just to have a glance of her.. it's so hilarious. This make me recalled something happen ytd nite, in mrt also. There is this rather dark guy whom touch a didi out of the blue. Both Yimei n I can see the tramatized look on his face.. poor kids.. gt 'sexually harrassed' by a stranger, a dark guy somemore. We think some of his brain wires arent connected properly. He looked a bit cranky (This is an understatement).. and he doesnt seem to know whr he wants to go. Later, he actually 'trailed' us, taking the same bus as us upon reaching Boonlay. This freak the life out of us. Later, we realised that we were oversensitive.. haa.

For the other incident which involve another didi, i shdnt blog about him.

Not only for male babies, Even male dogs are more attracted to female. I have come across this article saying that male dogs would get excited on seeing female. I dunno abt bitch though (Female dogs.. haa), upon seeing guys. Well, I shall not go into details of the biological behaviour of male dogs upon seeing galz.

Seems to me that 14th of Sat is quite unlucky for me. My Phone is going to die on me.. Anione has a spare phone to lend me? I need it for around 5 mths. Thks =)

13th of Friday

Well.. today is a so-so day barz.. but i would like to blog on the positive side.. haa

First, today played badminton with Der, Tian n Mei. Well, it was a hilarious session. I shall not blog about the part just in case i got slaughter by Der.. After which, we went to this Jap rest in JW sports complex itself. The food there wasnt really fantansic, however, it's the companion that counts, isnt it? It's so great to keep in contact with my JC friends. And as der finds out, the warm water costs $0.50. I find it a rip off when there is water cooler outside.. esp to us, poor students. haa

Next, I went to Billy Bombers at Marina Square with Ruixiang. It was a nice experience. The customer service there was fantansic. It's the best I have experienced out of all the rest. The cold water was served the moment I sat down, n they rrm our orders though it's rather similar. Im impressed!

Thks Ruixiang for accompany me.. Really appreciate it a lot =)

Putting in Other's Shoe

How easy is it to put in other people's shoe? or should i sd how difficult? I have tried for years before i sort of succeed in doing so. I feel that it's very difficult to put onself in another people's shoe esp when one is not okay. So I understand when one is unable to put oneself into another people's shoe. Feeling really appreciated when one can put oneself into my shoe though it's after the incident.

I know that to a group of people, im considered to be anti-social. However, Im very glad that they didnt gif up hope on me and keep calling me out. Sry guys. Im really busy when u guys called me.. Am really sorry over it.

Welcome To NTU

This pharse would be very familar to my ntu peers.

Today is my registeration. Well.. things didnt go as smoothly as i expected cz for some reason or another, they decided not to open Group C slot. So we lan lan have to change to other class index. Shdnt they inform us first? However, I did manage to get a nice tymtable, so there is nuthing i can complain abt.

There is something for a chance in NTU system though.. The lecture notes for one of the modules is out! That's what we wont really expect from NTU.

Time really flies, I have been in NTU for a year. For the past year, things arent smooth-sailing (cant expect things to be always smooth-sailing rite?). For one particular thing, Im really glad that it turns out better esp when I had mentally prepared for the worse. Study-wise has been a roller coaster to me- Realizing that my basis is rather weak a day before my paper.

Slightly less than one more month to sch reopen. I just started on a new jigsaw, hope to finish it soon =D However, this tym rd, i intend to make a frame myself. So I expect myself to complete it by end of this year, cos of school sem.

Taiwan

Seems that Taiwan is a hotspot for tourists. Less than 1 mth after my JC frenz, it's now my mum's turn to go - Later in the morning. How I wish i can go too.. but i decided not to spend so much before I start to be financially independent. Hopefully by then, I would be able to spend money freely without feeling any heartache.. haa

Another few more days would be registering of modules. Hopefully Im able to get what I want to save me from trouble during the add and drop period.

Dealing with problems

All along, I believe in dealing with problems headson. For every problem, it's better to find the roots of the problem and solve it.

However, my stand changes. I realised that sometimes, problems can be very tricky and it's difficult to find the root of the problem, let alone find the solution to it. I realised that I might be handling some problems with ways that i dont like - avoiding. I have no idea but for some reasons, unknowingly, maybe i started to avoid. Maybe it's cause of unable to find the solutions to it makes me not wanting to handle the situation headson. Or maybe it's because it's not the right time to resolve the problems and cause the problem arised at the wrong time. I really have no idea. Maybe that is why I started to avoid. And it's cos of this that i might be giving contradicting stand.

In the state of confusion. Hopefully, I can overcome it soon. Maybe there is a certain level of fear in me.

I doubt a lot of people will understand what im trying to bring across but that doesnt matter cos i just need an outlet to let off some 'steam'? Not 'steam' as in anger bt just need to let off some stuffs that is bothering me.

Biz minor

Shortly after my previous post, I decided on pen down this post.

I have been pondering if i should continue with my biz minor for a long long time. After discussing with Ruixiang, I came to a conclusion that I should drop business minor. For the past two sem, I have been concentrating on my electives more than my cores. It is time for me to do something before my core is being affected.

Deciding to choose biz minor is to gain more explosure in my life. I have taken what I want to learn, accts n finance. So I guess i would drop it now.

木船--和--民歌餐厅

Despite my chinese heading, I would rather blog in lousy english than in lousy chinese.

民歌餐厅: Went on Sat with Yimei. The ambience is good, place is accessible (marina square). The session is being split into two sessions. The first session was by 良川 and 桔诚. They are a funny pairs, imitating the sound of fireworks as well as changing the songs to techno. Great Attempt! The second session was by three people. However, due to the fact that two of them are DJs, the session is rather boring as too many talking are going on. Nevertheless, it's a nice place to chill out! However, the customers are mostly made up of older generation, maybe it's cos it's on weekend.

木船: Went during New Year Eve, also with Yimei (haa). This place is in Safra. The ambience is good. As the place is not as easily accessible, there is a smaller crowd (which is what I prefer more). The songs they sang is mostly for younger generations. It's a nice place to chill out when most of the other places are fully packed with people.

Rounding up my weekend with a kbox session with waimeng and kenneth on sun. A weekend filled with music and songs. I can forsee more of kbox sessions to come.. Haa
