Hours before last paper

I guess this is the first time i have this feeling- feeling of not wanting to do study. I can understand how ruixiang feels for his last paper last sem - No motivation to study.

This is suppose to be the core paper for Business Finance Student and Im taking it with them- No motivation

I have S/U-ed it- No motivation

Last paper- No motivation.

I have look through past year papers- doesnt seem easy. Let see how thing goes. On the brighter side, it's OPEN BOOK.. Haa

Yesterday was my last core paper- had my usual problem- super careless. I can look at the wrong numbers and ended up checking for 1/2 hr before i spot the mistake. After which, kw drove us to one of the canteen to haf our lunch. The western food is nice! Haa

kw, do wat u should do. I think u understand what i mean or do i have to spell it out clearly? .. and do modify my timetable soon so that i can send to the rest.. Haha

Read the incident relating to national dragon boat incident in Cambodia. It's quite sad and one of them was an SAJCians-cum-NTU-ians. They have the potentials of being in the national dragon boat team. I hope their families and friends would try to get over soon. Im sure they wont want to see them in this state.

Nearing to the end of my papers

Finally, this sem is going to end soon.

I had Circuit Analysis on Wed which i think is ok. The prof decided to be kind and set an ok paper for us. However, things arent good for Digital Electronics. The '1's and '0's really killed us. Massive massacred was done by a prof who is not good at teaching. I hope my paper would be ok.

Today elective i crapped all the way.. Haa.. nothing worth saying..

It's nice to study and pia together. Hope all my kakis would do well for this sem. Tmr is Maths. May all of us do well =D

Here is a long break- for the moment. My next paper is on Wed and it's none other than Circuit Analysis.

Yesterday paper was a stunner, i would say. Though i find it ok, but i feel that the lecturer shouldnt concentrate so much on one part of the lecture. The most interesting thing is that someone posted a online discussion board in the module to 'inform' the lectuer how unfair it is.

And Kerwei, he was so free that he decided to be invigilator. He spotted people copying outrightly which makes him.. erm.. jealous? Haa.. no larz.. but he managed to catch a few people copying..

I was looking through the list of nicks in my msn list. All were quite depressing. Guys, it's exam period.. shdnt we be motivating each other? definitely not by depressing nicks

The First Core Paper

In around 4 hours' time, i would be having my first core paper-Algo aka 3min-10marks paper. Hope that it would be easy.

I had an elective-Fundamental in Biz management- on wednesday which is easy-to-pass-but-hard-to-score. Well, the paper was done under no stress because i just need to pass. However, though it's an open book exam, 20% of the marks cant be found in the textbook as it's only mentioned in lectures which i skipped like nobody business. Overall, it was a mangable paper considering that i didnt study at all for the paper *it's open book*

After which, went IMM swensen with kerwei, jinwei and godfrey to celebrate kerwei's birthday but i dunno why kerwei choose IMM though. Maybe the food there is tastier? I thought he would choose JP.. haa

The food there was ok but service can be better as we waiting for 15-30 mins for our ice-creams- KW decided to go healthy- Yougart. We had the after exam mood though it is just the beginning of the exam.. lolx

To all of the people who are having exams, dont stress too much. I was flipping through the elective textbook and it shows an inverted U-graph for performance against stress. So have enough stress but not so much that your performance would start to drop. In addition, do have confidence in yaself!

Countdown - 3 days

Three days to the battle. Hope everyone had geared up for this period of time. I hope i am too. Though this is a tough period, I ended up taking in another student. Well, she was my student's sister and had flopped her final exams. Though i dont i would be taking in another Secondary school student from next year onwards, I will be taking her for around one month. I hope she can tide through since i really fork out precious time of mine to help her tide through this period of time. I accepted this assignment because i know that it's very difficult for them to find a tutor now and since they want to amend their mistakes, I think I would help them.

After tutoring her, I have another reason to pursuade someone to try to get into a better secondary school. Im not saying that neighbourhood schools are not good, however, at least we need some standard. She told me that her teacher did not give her any homework thoughout the year. For my another student who is from neighbourhood school, his teacher kept on changing that there is no continuity in the class. And some teacher just cannot teach.. sighz.

How much did you spend today?

I just came across a news that there is this 12 years old girl in Philippine who commit sucide because her family cant fork out a mere $3 for her project. Nearly 14% of the phillippines live on less than three dollars a day. Poor gal who commit sucide because of her financial status.

This news triggered my thoughts. How much did i spend today? $2(transport) + $3.00 (lunch) + $2.60 (milo - studying in mac) = $7.60. Gosh.. unknowingly, i spent around $7.60 and that is not including the cost of note printing. I guess we are really fortunate that we dont have great financial problem. Though i understand that we lead a higher standard of living, i cant help it but to think how much we spent. This is more than the amount that made the girl commit sucide. Maybe I should cut down on my expenses which i think it's difficult.

With regard to Melvin's black diamond movie, which i had watched with Yimei a few years back, it's also a case of poverty. I really hope that poverty in Third world countries would improved. Maybe sending less statellites to the space and other stuffs and help them instead would make the world a better world to live in.

Today i had a weird dream- Dreaming in my dream with a horror section as a desert. Totally spolit my sleep. What a way to start my day.

But i saw ruixiang on the bus today, just like how i bump into junxin on tuesday. It nice to see friends during this period of time.

In addition, i saw this little boy who lies on the floor in popular. Kids are so adorable- imagine that a full-grown adult doing that? IT'S DEEM AS CRAZY. Haa.
