Reviving my dead blog
As someone said, my blog has never been so dead. So I guess I would need to do something to it.
Time really flies, i have been in DSO for attachment for slightly more than 2 months. During this period of time, I learnt that no matter how good a place is, there is still politics... guess there is no escape for it.
The other issue that might be bothering the society might be the two unfortunate cases happened in NTU EEE. Derrick was so worried that he sms-ed me not to be so stressed up while my another junior in NTU MSE told me not to bring knife to school.. Haa.. there are still a couple of interesting incidents that happens to my friends like
1) Lecturer being so paranoid that he kept looking at who is entering the lecture theater
2) Prof telling derrick and his peers how easy the quiz are
3) Supervisor asking melvin if he is from ntu ... and so on
Well derrick, I won't do anything silly because I know there are a lot of friends that would be there for me. If I will to do anything silly, my friends would be sad (I hope you guys would be sad if anything bad happens to me.. Haa).
There are a couple of people whom i wanna thanks:
1) Yimei for creating such a surprise for me.. Though you are busy to celebrate for me on the actual day, your presence are felt in my office.. haa.. I guess both you and clifford are equally playful.
2) Clifford and gang - for digging out Yimei's number and get the cake for me.. Thanks a lot. I really enjoyed my IA times.
3) JC gang - our nice chill out in HV. We should go there often to get out of the city life. I am getting more and more impatience living in the fast pace society
4) Kaiyan for celebrating almost all my birthday without fail.
5) Ruixiang for bringing his blessings from China and
6) Miss Teng (not Yimei) for rmm me as her student. It's not always a teacher will wish her student happy birthday.. Haa
Suddenly, I had a thought. I decided to keep open the option in teaching. I think I enjoyed teaching + it's less stressful compared to other jobs - at least i think i can handle teaching stress better. However, should I go teaching or research? I would need more time to decide..

New Year Resolutions
A new year, a new beginning.
There is quite a number of things that happens in my life last year, things that makes me worth remembering for my life in Uni, especially my HRM members. Though i didnt do as well as before, but i didnt regret taking HRM earlier as the friends that i made are invaluable.
Yimei has graduated but she is not very happy with her working life.. guess no one would be happy working as an auditor? Haaa... I think a lot of auditors are going to agree with me *Maybe Derrick going to prove me wrong? Are u going to do that, Derrick?*
The toughest sem is over (I sincerely hope so).. Coming sem would be my FYP-cum-IA.
To those who are not updated by me, I would be joining DSO for my IA and as for my FYP, i would be working on adaptive filtering.. it's just a kind of filtering. Seems to me that a programming-idiot-Keegan would be doing a lot, a lot of programmings.. Haa
Being fan-ing if i should go into research.. if i'm not going into research, which company should i apply for my job, esp with the current job market - which is so bad. Hiakz.. maybe im graduating at the wrong time? At least i know that i have something to fall on *being a teacher*? haa.. we will see bar.. dun wanna compete with someone for her rice bowl.
New year resolutions:
--> To get a good-paying-cum-good-prospect job as soon as I can.
--> Hope that Yimei's health is good
--> Hope that Yimei would come to a decision on whether to stay or not to stay
--> Hope that my brain would be brainy for programming.. Haa..
Today went singing with my NS friends. TO OUR SURPRISE, we saw our understudies on our way home. Haa.. It's been nice meeting up with pals. RuiXiang, XiuMing, Kenneth Tan, All the best to your trips... also welcome back, Melvin. Hope u like our cards. 6mths without you is so different.. I guess we miss u.. Haaaa
